With more than 20 years of experience working with metal Jennifer Banks has explored many forms; from tableware to jewelry to her most recent containers and small sculpture. Since graduating with high distinction in metal arts from the California College of Arts and Crafts she has garnered many awards and is in numerous collections nationwide.

Taking inspiration from natural and architectural forms and elements, Jennifer delights in combining the hard, clean, almost machined look of metal work with other hand worked, sometimes unconventional materials such as wood, bone and resins. In finding a balance between the different materials and techniques, she allows a very personal expression to emerge.
