Kathy Kovel first learned basic jewelry techniques in her hometown at the West Hartford Art League. She pursued her career in metlal arts studying with master Tim McCreight at Maine College of Art in Portland, Maine. After completing school, she began working as a bench jeweler at two high-end jewelry galleries. Working in precious metals and semi-precious stones, she produces work that shows her enthusiam for intricate and ornate small scale design.
